Montréal, mystery city
This is from a school project: 5 photos about the city, in black and white and with a theme. I decided it would be Montréal, mystery city.
This one make me think of the movie Metropolis from Fritz Lang.
You can see what I mean here.
It also make me think of Metropolis, the animation movie from Rintaro.
Both of these movies tell the story of a population controlled by a "higher" class. After watching those two movies, that factory seemed like the typical headquarters for dictator.
This one is a little tribute to horror movie with bad beginnings: car broke down, it raining hard outside ... let's to go to the crazy castle!

I prefer it in color, but there's definitly something going on there when the color is taken away.
